Join CGA at our hybrid Paris Arbitration Week Event!
The Campaign for Greener Arbitrations began as a promise by an international arbitrator to manage her arbitrations in an environmentally friendly manner. In 2019, Lucy Greenwood launched what she termed her ‘Green Pledge’ to minimise the impact of her arbitration practice on the environment. She brought together representatives of key stakeholders in international arbitrations to spearhead the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations. Since its launch in 2020, the Campaign has gained a strong following across the globe. This interactive discussion will present the sustainable principles of the Campaign, share the past accomplishments and future plans to reduce the carbon footprint of the arbitration industry, and feature testimonials of key stakeholders who have successfully implemented sustainable behaviors.
